Mayoral, city and other local government networks and associations endorsed a Declaration of Networks Against Hate at the Strong Cities Network Fifth Global Summit in Cape Town (South Africa). The Declaration stands as a powerful commitment to support cities and local governments in addressing hate and building strong and resilient communities.

The Declaration outlines a series of practical steps that organisations can take to support and empower local governments and officials to address hate, safeguard vulnerable populations and educate communities about its harmful impacts. Consistent with the Strong Cities mission, the Declaration includes a commitment to continue to share with and learn from each other in addressing these challenges.
