On 15 October, Washwasha – an online show started by youth who attended SCN and YouthCAN’s Young Cities workshop in Lebanon last May – released the fourth episode of their online show with the young poet Talal Dadou.

Talal arrived to Lebanon from Syria in 2014 and settled in the Ein El Helweh camp. He joined an arts and dance team which he now volunteers with to train youth on spoken word, writing poetry and acting. He speaks on the importance of art as an outlet and mode of expression particularly for young people escaping conflict. The video in Arabic can be seen here.

The group is also due to appear in a recorded episode on the ‘Palestine Today’ TV channel where they were invited as guests on Friday 19 October (see below).
