Stronger Than Hate


Stronger Than Hate is a graphic animation of the 2018 attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, focusing on key mayoral decision points during and in the wake of attack.

Narrated by former Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto, this animation intimately recounts the horrific events that transpired that day and illustrates how a city came together to emerge more united than ever. Although this episode is set in Pittsburgh, it is a story that will resonate around the world, as cities face the rising tide of hate, violent extremism and other mass casualty events.
