The Strong Cities Network has launched its latest training module, focusing on Education.

The module aims to inform about the importance of education in preventing and protecting against violent extremism. It is intended as a general introduction, to help plan education programmes while strengthening existing ones, and highlights the roles of critical thinking, civic education, digital citizenship and media literacy skills in building resilience against polarisation and radicalisation.

It consists of 3 key lessons, each followed by a short quiz, covering:

• Critical Thinking
• Civic Education
• Digital Citizenship and Media Literacy
