Our new MENA hub page has just launched, which highlights the SCN’s work in the Middle East North Africa region. This includes the highly successful Community Prevention Networks (CPNs) across six cities in Lebanon and Jordan, which develop sustainable grassroots infrastructure and design, coordinate and deliver effective prevention initiatives that are locally-owned and city-led.
The hub page also expands on our Regional Practitioner Workshops, in which more than 90 practitioners received training on PVE activity planning, followed by sessions aimed at co-designing outreach activities to be delivered in the local communities, as well as the various activities designed, coordinated and undertaken by our CPNs.
We have also updated the SCN Member City Profiles to include our MENA cities: Al-Karak, Zarqaand Irbid in Jordan, and Saida, Tripoli and Majdal Anjar in Lebanon.
