ISD recently published a new impact report following the Sens Critique pilot project. The pilot, which took place earlier last year, brought together organisations with expertise in media, education, disinformation and counter extremism to educate a group of 22 secondary school students (aged 13 to 15) from Paris to the dangers of ‘fake news’. It consisted of a series of five training and creative workshops touching upon subjects such as ‘fake news’, disinformation and emotional manipulation. At the end of the programme, students were tasked with producing a 2-minute video on these topics with their smartphones.
The project complements ISD’s continued commitment to developing educational programmes aimed at empowering young people to become positive digital citizens.
