Document IconAuthor: STREET (2006)

The STREET programme was created as a partnership between community and government to counter violent extremism in the South of London. It is run largely by members of a Muslim community who work with at-risk youth to divert them from getting involved in gang violence, violent extremism and antisocial behaviour. This document examines how the programme operates and why it has been so successful.
