Engaging Civil Society in Countering Violent Extremism

This research paper examines the role of multi-lateral institutions in countering violent extremism and how they engage with civil society. This paper argues that civil society has a key role to play when it comes to preventing and countering violent extremism and evaluates the effectiveness of the implementation of initiatives conducted so far by multi-lateral organisations and civil society.
