This document is a guide developed by the US Attorney’s Office to provide a framework to create a faith-based security event, such as the ones created in Detroit and Denver. The Protecting Houses of Worship events were an opportunity for the law-enforcement community to stand beside the faith-based community by providing practical guidance. The objectives of the Protecting House of Worship events were to encourage the conversation, offer best practices, network, provide resources and respond to the community’s concern.
